Giving/Recieving a Confession Stories

It was in 10th grade. There was this girl from my class, a year younger than us (she skipped 1st grade), that I found to be pretty cute, but nothing serious. Actually, when the year began, I promised myself I wouldn't fall for anyone. It was just something I was determined to (not) do. But I failed miserably at that.
She was the most sociable girl in class, and would talk to anyone easily (oposite of me, the most unsociable person in class. At least that's what I wanted to be). And so I started to talk to her here and there. By the middle of the year I was beggining to like her.
Then we had a field trip to see some museums. On the bus ride there I sat with a classmate, but on our way back they had all changed seats and I was left alone next to a free seat. I was feeling a bit crappy because of being alone. Then suddenly, she came and sat next to me. My heart started to race like crazy, while I tried to calm myself down and think of what was happening. She said she noticed I was alone and decided to come keep me company. She even gave me a chocolate hahaha. My feelings for her grew bigger that day.
By the end of the year, at our last class of the day, she asked me where I lived. Turns out the path she took to her (after school)quire lessons was halfway home. And she told me that she always had a bit of free time before quire, and asked me if I wanted to go that halfway home with her. "Sure, why not?" I said.
We began take that path together (she had quire 3 times a week). It was just 10-15 minutes, but I felt really happy. I started to think that she may like me back.
A few weeks after I was determined to tell her my feelings. I even thought of the place where I would confess to her. The next day we walked together, I was so tense and nervous that I missed the chance to confess to her where I had planned. The time came when we parted ways, but I didn't want to leave her, and I asked "So, you still have a bit of time before your lesson starts, right? I don't have anything to do, want me to keep you a bit of company?". She agreed. Fireworks were going around in my head. It was just a matter of stopping her, and telling her how I felt. But as you must've guessed, I was so so tense that I couldn't even look at her straight.
Then, she said we should better go back since it was getting late and her class was almost about to start. I felt so awkward and useless for not being able to tell her how I felt. At the last moment, when she turned around to go back, I gathered my strength and pulled her arm, and tried to say it...! But nothing came out of my mouth. I just stared strangely at her. She said "common, let's go", and turned away again. That's when I pulled her arm again and told her I liked her. (Only then did I think "Shit! What am I going to do if she says no?????!", while I awaited her answer). She said something along the lines of "Fortunatly, that's not gonna be a problem... because I do too...".
My mind was a pile of mush by then and I took a bit to realize what had happened. We came close to eachother and hugged. All I could hear was my heart pounding like crazy. When she put her head on my chest said "Your heart is beating pretty fast...", I said "...y-yeah."
We walked back and when we were about to part ways, we kissed. That night I kept playing it all in my mind, and I couldn't bring myself to believe that we had really kissed.
