While Exia might not boast the mecha-killing power of that cannon of a rifle that the Wing Gundam sports, it's technology is far more advanced than Wing Gundam and can simply dodge the beam's path, and Wing's close-combat skills are not as good as Exia's.
They are both from different series with different technology so it is difficult. If they were of the same technological level wing would be faster, more mobile, and have better defensive capabilities and (obviously) higher fire power. I'd say if it was just Exia versus Wing then Wing would win however if it was Trans-Am Exia versus Wing Exia would wing. I would say the same for 00 versus Zero or 00-Raiser versus Zero(Zero would win) but I think 00-Raiser would win with Trans-Am on. Although Zero might be able to find ways to counter Trans Am and the teleporting.
This isn't even a fair match up based off of technology. I believe in the Gundam competitor world (NOT G GUNDAM) there would be like set divisions. This is just not fair in my opinion.
Technology will always win. Exia's trans-am will counter Wing's Buster Rifle. But, Zero does have the Zero System which increases a person's reaction time. That helps a little, but I don't think it's going to be enough against Trans Am Exia's absurd speed.
Heero would sabotage Exia before they fight. Lol. xD

lol i would like to see how someone could be able to counter a MS that is going at least twice its original speed and teleport at any time to get with in feet of u then slash with the Trans Am GN sword III which is covered in beam particles, only disadvantage of 00 raiser is time, which setsuna knows and would go throught and finish with time to spare
I think Trans-Am would match very well against BioComputer System in Gundam F91.
They become faster and have after image effect when these system turned on.
:D
I think if it's Gundam F91, they would win by default because of the Minovski Particles generated. Because of those particles, Zaku's would defeat Exia, 00, and whatever else there is.
This match-up remind me of one demo in G Generation Wars game, here's the vid:
but those vid is a match-up against 00 Gundam and Wing Zero (EW)
I think it's not really fair since Exia has more features like TRANS-AM and GN-Field. while Wing (I'm sure the Wing OP mean is the ordinary Wing Gundam here not Zero/Custom)
Ordinary Wing does not have advanced feature(s) to outcome Exia's and clearly have disadvantages from beginning. So, I think Exia would win, except if Wing (with Heero on it) do some self-destruct and bring Exia down with him lol.

This works on Crossbone series too, since Crossbone is developed from F91 (hence its true model number is F97), and it's more suitable to face Exia since Crossbone is a melee-oriented combat MS.
@Rin
as I recall, Crossbone Gundam dun have BioComputer.
So, I think F90/F91 series are the best suited MS to match Exia's Trans-Am...
It has Bio-Computer system too actually, you see Crossbone could open its mouth too like F91, tha'ts the moment when its Bio-Computer become active.
Crossbone X-1's equip specs from MAHQ:
Equipment and design features: sensors, range unknown; dummy launchers in hands; special weapons targeting sensor in head, can be deployed over right eye sensor/camera; bio-computer system
Also If I recall correctly, F90 didn't have bio-computer; it just served as a test-bed for VSBR system (F90 V-Type).

Hmmm...
Oh I see...
But still, I never seen Crossbone Gundam emit after images just like F91 did.
Besides, I just got that idea from SD Gundam G Generation Spirits video game.
hehehe...
