Hellish torture

So last night I dealt with no internet no matter what I tried I was lucky to get 30 seconds up time. The today I dealt with no electricity. The reason being the remnants of Ike are/were moving into my area with strong winds, which fell a tree, causing it to land on the power lines snapping a utility pole in half just two doors down from where I live while I was at work.

So now I'm finally basking in the cool refreshing goodness of AC and the comfort of my internets.

Yay, you lived!

But had it been another day longer......

I would have had an internet fix at school.

Suicide...

I had to deal with a blackout once and I pulled out my laptop but after the battery died I felt as if I had no reason to live...

I have a jump start kit for my car that can hold my laptops power for about 3 hour when it's fully charged. So I had computer through this but no internet.

that would make checking this site a little awkward

I once faced a blackout throughout all of New York City, which wasn't fun. Assumed No lives lost, but the lack of power left us bored out of our minds. Not to mention I was still had scotophobia back then.
