Help me Solve this...

I have problem with Snow Drops,
After I installed it,and run the game..
the screen goes black(of course at first..)but..
the screen didn't change with the background sounds playing..
I've waited from 15 minutes until 30 minutes,and with the high level of patient..I wait it until 1 hours...and the screen didn't change,still Black!!(what the hell!!)

Here's my computer Specs..
AMD Athlon(tm)64 X2
Dual Core Processor 5600+
3.00Ghz 2GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT 2GB

Windows XP Pack 3

Do you have the Japanese language pack active? If not, try that and see if it helps. Some H-games (or any Japanese games for that matter) won't operate correctly if you don't set your computer to Japanese language support.

Yes,I've done it already.But still,the problem still there.
When I running this game on my friend computer,the game running smoothly without setting the japanese language support.My friend using the Windows Xp,same as mine...

Didn't you know that Win XP pack 3 is some kinda unstable ?
Since Pack 3 is unstable,you should change your OS into Pack 2.

Lots of games didn't accept Win XP Pack 3 .

Tried running it with Applocale? That fixes all my problems with any Japanese game. Also if you search around you can find a hack that removes the annoying Applocale warning every time you use it.

what is Applocale?
can you post the download links if it's a software?

First of all, I want to ask. Is your Snow Drop game an English version? Because mine is English. If so, you don't need to install the language pack nor Applocale, just install the game normally. The problem would be in the game files, try to reinstall and if it still doesn't work, then your game must be corrupted.


I asked this first because I can't even find the Japanese version :3
But if your game is Japanese, do what the above posters said.

No idea, especially when you said your friend's PC can play it. Usually DirectX, improper installation, corrupted files, problem with crack, or the opening video. I say the only thing you can do now is to reinstall the game and copy the crack again (if it has one). If you still can't then.. My condolences.

applocale is an application from microsoft that will run a program according to whatever non-unicode language you define for it. Example: playing a japanese game on an english computer probably won't work correctly so you use applocale and set it to japanese and it should play then.
