they stole my laptop(which contained most of my recent downloads and my most important documents!) ><
my dad's 46" Sony Bravia.
a camera that has alot of precious memories of me + my family & friends!
and alot of those random shit.

at least this way the insurance will pay for it.
the irony of it all is that i had an XP editioned HP laptop..
and all the current laptops have Vista..
should i get a downgrade? xD

in general the insurance company don't give you enough to get it al abck though they pay you only the value of what it would be worth today. so a 4 year old laptop would give you nothing or maybe a 100 bucks because you pay your fortune to them every month.

My laptop got stolen once too it was 4 years old nothing wrong with it. I got more back from the scratch on the floor then what I got back from my laptop. All you feel then is the fact that you got robbed twice.

all my shit is password protected and locked, with a triple layer encryption on most files if they do manage to get into it. That and I have a tracking program that will allow me (or the cops) to lock onto them the moment they plug it into the net. It also helps that I have a big sign on my front lawn that says "Member of the godfathers blackhand 'revenge is sweet' society." Ever since I bought that I haven't been robbed or broken into once. As far as insurance companies go, I'm so loaded, I don't bother with insurace, I just pay for it all out of pocket. It's more convinient than dealing with those fags who just want your monay. Our neighborhood watch also has a posse of NRA members who are notably trigger-happy.

I had to steal fruit to survive in Venezuela, it's not the same. If you're stealing. Either steal sustenance with future payment as a second thought, or steal from the library so you actually learn something OR read something for the first time in your life. Or both.
