i made this AMV for a few days now and finally finished it last night. its my first one so dont expect anything special about it but tell me what you think and tips on improving it would be greatly appreciated :wink:

i was sure most of them fit in, which parts were you not happy with maybe i can amend it... or i could just find something better to do >_>

Here's a scrap AMV I made. Not to criticize yours or anything, but try to make yours a little bit smoother. I'm just using my latest one as an example (Hikari, Grip!). Of course it doesn't compare to my earlier projects XD
By smoother, I mean more fluid transitions between clips. Also, try to emphasize the main part more.
Also, on the first climax, you merely showed a fire shot being blasted out. It really didn't do much for me. Those are the important parts. They're basically the bases which holds up the rest of your AMVs. If they're not as special as the scenes on the regular parts of the song, it quickly gets stale and boring.
Lastly, set up a time frame in your mind. This keeps the AMV from being random. You don't necessarily have to follow by episodes, but what they're trying to express in that scene. I suggest working towards one emotion. For example, starts off lonely then ends happy. If you don't have a sense of time in the AMV, it's just a bunch of random scenes.
I kind of did just that in this next AMV (Syaoran's Only One). Except rather than a straight line from start to finish, the feelings were more of a parabola (hence, the shocking ending).

i will take into account in what you said, the fire bit was when i barely had any clips until i managed to download some of the first series and never really bothered to change it :oops:
one question azumax, which video effect was it that you made the beggining bits white out so fast and onto the next clip? well if its not Windows Video Maker you use im kinda stuffed, thx alot :wink:

If you're talking about the beginning clips in my Tsubasa AMV, it can easily be done in Sony Vegas using the cookie cutter, but I actually used my rigged Windows Movie Maker 2. It's kind of hard to explain all the adjustments I made using WMM.
But if you're talking about the Pokemon AMV, then I simply used fade out to white.
