I spend a considerable amount of time on Danbooru and I noticed that there are a lot of Touhou pics. So I checked the tag counts and low and behold, Touhou was the 4th on the list with 21600+ pics. You would think one of the more popular series would have more, but the next most tagged series is Haruhi with 8645 pics.

Because I assume that's a childish American trend, and I'd also assume that most of them don't actually know about Danbooru.

Probably not. I'm not all that quick to pick up on shit going on with the internet, so I only found out about it around the time I started coming here. Neither Bleach or Naruto have broken 2000.

Given that I am not the most tech-savvy of users, I am unable to say if my observation is correct, but from the few visits paid to Danbooru, there are quite a number of repeated or duplicated images for a particular category, which means the figures may change, though I doubt by much.

Yeah, you find some duplicates on just about any image hosting site like Danbooru. Anyway, it is strange that Naruto has under 2000 images, since there's a topic with nearly 2800 images.
