How do you feel about your birthday?

I fucking hate birthdays. All a birthday means is that my "friends" say, "Happy Birthday" and usually follow it up with something like, "How much you got to spend?" I've done a pretty good job of laying low on my birthdays for the past few years, but there's always at least one person that calls me talking about how fucked up we're gonna get, even if they're broke.

Lol it's funny because everytime we try to sing the "Happy Birthday!" song with my relatives it's so bad, it's like a broken record or something. XD

We are basically just laughing are asses off through the whole thing.

Being above 21 there's nothing special to celebrate at this point and any parties I had usually always sucked anyway. So yeah, I just don't give a crap, I'd rather celebrate someone else's birthday instead.

technically my life doesn't really get better, but I'm not that emo. I can only recall one time, however not even which year it was, that I actually went out and celebrated my B-day.

you'll have yours soon enough just keeping wishing before blowing those candles Haha.. Anyway I just spend my birthday on my daughter's birthday since we almost got the same date, just a week advance on mine.

For most of us, our birthdays may be just like any other day. However, it is also up to us to make it exciting.

Call me thick-skinned if you must, but this year, I called my close friends up to remind them that my birthday is nearing and we should all get together. In the end, I did receive a couple of treats and presents. Looking back, I came to realize that I don't mind forking out money for my friends' birthdays too, but there are times when I may forget, so a reminder is always helpful.

Lesson Learned: When you do not tell others of your birthday, there is a chance that they will not remember the occasion. :eng101:

Well they used to be more important to me but as I grew older they just became less important to me. Sure I enjoy getting some gifts and getting cooked a special dinner for, but I don't expect a gigantic party.

Just a quiet get together is nice enough to last me another year.

I feel it's just another day in the life. I do still like the feeling of waking up and saying, "One Year ago, I was somehow a lot less smart."

I really don't care about my birthday. Just anther day and still just getting older.

Well I'm gonna make a thread about it in oh say maybe 5 hours once I finish college if you're around till then then you will know what I meant by that. I don't want to say anything now that will get rid of the surprise though some others I know on here already know about it.

I usually feel a bit bad about reminding others (IF THEY DARE FORGET!) but now I wont so much.

I don't really care, just another normal day...

But I feel happy that I have lived my life for the past n years (it's 19, actually). I'm happy that I've met people and friends and I've encountered experiences that is worth to be treasured.

I'm still a virgin and don't want to lose it yet. Well anyway, I'm now enjoying life more and more as I get older, like going through levels of a game.
