Well the fact that he's joined fairly recently, and after constant activity, made it to "Elite" status and you, being a seasoned member, didn't accept the fact that he was active enough to be deserving of his status and accused him of being a spammer.


I accused him of being a spammer for the sheer volume of his posts in such a short time, i never said anything about his "status". The people who do matter know post count and post quality are two very different things.

Waar, you have argued correctly, which made you right, which made you deserving of a rep, which I will give to you in 5 seconds this post has been posted, which will fix the minus on your rep, which, of course, you do not care for.

I have been here for as long as I can remember... which kinda embarasses me, seeing I was a spammer with no intelligence in the first hundred posts...

i do care to know that people understand/agree with me, and I view rep as a token of that persons appreciation for my words... In a roundabout way I do care for rep. Hows that for honesty, few others would admit to it even if the majority feel the same as I do.

I'm a believer in humility. Just because someone is able to be a complete ass to another, doesn't necessarily mean they should. I'm fairly sure you'd man up and admit defeat if it happened. Everyone's gotta do it sometime.

I've been here for almost a year, but I'm more of an observer than a talker, which is why my post count is so low.

Not that I don't appreciate someone saying something in my defense, but I don't really care what Waar thinks, and I don't mean that in an asshole way. I've just never cared what anyone has thought about me or my actions, I guess that's my Nihilist attitude. I know I'm not a spammer, and what I think is all that matters. Although I have to say I don't understand how your definition of e-mail spam justified your views on what spamming is. All it talked about was the abuse it said nothing about the amount, and that goes back to what Jebus said to begin with, but I guess "abuse" is a pretty subjective term, but I personally don't think amount and abuse go hand-in-hand.

You may value my opinion much, much less than the opinions of say, your friends... but you value the opinions of others, even the opinions of you and your actions. So sure, you don't care what my particular opinion on this matter might be (even though you should) but you care what others on this site think of you... if you think that's the not the case you're only lying to yourself.

Based on the definition of each individual, there could be different kinds of spammers, some good, and others, less appreciated. Most Admins and Mods will try to crack down on the negative ones.

In any case, I would recommend users to get back on topic. Sometimes, it does not really matter how long one has been on a particular site... or so I think.
