hi guys, im curious how long can u hold ur breath.. =p
for me, my personal record is 2 minutes 33 seconds.. lol..

I read your post and i tryed to hold my breath for as long as possible! Here are my recordings....
Underwater: 1min 37sec
Normal: 1min 56sec
Space: 0min 36sec
oh did i mention im a astronaut?

lol.. did i mention that im a swimmer.. =p that is considered low. for divers, i heard that they can hold for 15minutes.. lol

Anyone who says they can hold their breath for 15 minutes is lying....insanely. The world record is currently 8 minutes, 58 seconds for holding one's breath underwater. Even acknowledging that someone can hold their breath longer in a normal situation (i.e above water) then you probably wouldn't beat 10-11 minutes and thats well short of 15.
Anyway, 1:37 for me. I haven't done it in a while and just tried it now. Not particularly impressive but I went for a run a little while ago so maybe that's affecting it. I have a pretty crappy ability to hold my breath anyway.

1 min 5 secs, might be able to go a little longer but that's just uncomfortable. :X

About 2 and a half to 3 minutes but if I'm swimming while doing it then only a minute to a minute and a half...-ish.

WTF I was a lifegaurd too scary. In my peak I'm say about 3 min now I say trouble with 2 min.
And this is an odd thread to be revived.
