How to Protect Your Privacy on XP

Well this is kinda easy but it's also kinda cool

it makes an "invisible" folder to dtore your doujinshi or porn in it so minors or that uses your computer wont see them. most of you might already know this, my cousin came over for a visit and that kid was going through my document and almost clicked my doujinshi fodler making me extremely cautious now

it's easy really

1.Right click whereever you want your folder and click new->create Newfolder




2. for the name of the folder you have to hold ALT and type 0160 this will result in a blank name


3. next right click the folder and click Propertie -> Customize tab -> change icon


4. look for a blank icon , choose it and click ok


5. you should end up with something like this check up right corner

Right Click -> Attributes -> Hidden

Or you could use something like Folder Guard to require a password for some folders but then again all you have to do is force change the permissions and you can bypass that. Works against people who don't know what they are doing I guess.

No, hidden folder view is disabled by default.

People do not usually enable view hidden folders.

I have same method like you

But I use "," for the name of it

And, it's better if you put it in Object Dock, because it'll invisible

My laptop is broken, so it can't show any hidden files anymore

It's cool method i'd say, thou i made a folder some months ago on my desktop and named it with the ALT 0160, but now i can't suddenly rename it at all nor i can delete it from the desktop. If i try to delete it or rename, nothing happens. No warnings or anything at all.

I can move the files out and in.

Gotta learn to remember that it's (ALT) 0160. Always forget what the number is to make " " name.

I used to hide my hentai folders deep down into my system32 folder where no one would even look, lol...

But the hiding folder option is always a good nifty strategy. Actually, that's what my cousin did all the time. Made folders all over the fakku place and hid them.
