being 18 is considered legal because 18 is a time where our body already at its peak of growth so you're considered as an adults after 18, but some countries have 21+ as the legal age.

Now all the responsibilities of the world come crashing down on you and you'll be swept up in a haze of confusion and fear and you'll realize, this is it! There's no more safety net. You're staring life in the face and it's not gonna blink anytime soon!

Smokes, booze, lottery tickets, porn, and all those other things, you can get someone to buy for you, or get through other means, but you can't vote until you're eighteen.

Who knows. Wasn't like that for me. Neither was turning 21 either.

Absolutely... when I woke up on my birthday the first thing I thought about was the next election. I was all like, "I'm gonna vote the shit outta that mother fucker."

I admit, being able to vote isn't exactly exciting, and the way the presidential election is, voting is all but worthless, but that doesn't mean that every single time you vote, it won't count. There are all sorts of elections for political positions where single votes do count, as well as propositions that can make you want to move if they do or do not get passed.

Vote turnout is low for the presidential election; imagine how low it is for Prop #Random! Your one vote could actually make a difference, if you're part of the 15% of the state's population that actually votes in non-presidential elections. (Low number of voters made up for emphasis.)

Plus, there are a ton of 16-year-olds who can't wait two years and want to vote now. You can laugh in their faces and say, "I'm voting opposite of you, and you can't negate my vote because you're not eighteen!" And then cry because they're two years younger than you but get more pussy in a month than you've gotten in the past two years.
