So I've got this zit cluster that's bordering on a growth of "we need to surgically remove this, sir" proportions on the back of my neck.

Just now, it popped, or rather, it listfully opened and started oozing puss and blood all over. It got all over my shirt. It's terrible. Now I'm sitting here with a box of Kleenex sopping up the bloody puss.

The rest seemed depressing and my intention was to gross out anyone who read this so yeah.

Yeah that kinda sucks. I think Westley said it best in Princess Bride:

Well if it were me i'd just ignore it but I hate hospitals so I might be a bit biased when it comes down to what the "right" thing to do is.

If it gets better forget about it and pretend it never happened. If it comed back i'd set up a appointment with a doctor cause going to a hospital seems like a little much.

You could always look on the bright side...whatever that might be.

As long as the "zit" isn't the size of a grapefruit I really wouldn't worry too much about it. Sounds more like dying from blood loss is a more immediate problem from the way you're describing it.

my brother had this zit, and it was no ordinary zit... it was the 8th wonder of the world of a zit, and it was on his upper lip. it looked like he had herpes, and it was just terrible. my step-dad joked around and said that he had a golfball on his lip. we went to wal-mart that day, and this guy who walked past my bro did like a 5 take, cuz he looked, looked away, and just kept looking. since my brother does not normally get facial blemishes, so he did not know what to do about it. so guess who was popping that son of a bitch zit....me....when i was forced to pop it, it was Hiroshima 2. i was fortunate to not get any on me, i thankfully survived the horrid explosion of nastiness. then after that i had some Mickey-D's ^^. the norm basically. pop a monster zit, eat some greaseballs, nothing unsual.

These zits are super annoying. Using the lotion my doctor gives me still takes a while. :?

It's pretty common to get zits when you're stressed out. I don't think they're supposed to be as bad as yours, and I wouldn't immediately say that stress is the problem and forget about it, but it is possible.

Anyways, there's a Russian saying that's been a favorite of mine for years:

"The day you wake up without pain is the day you know you're dead."

Russians sure are optimistic, huh? But it's pretty true. Life comes with a lot of pain, but a lot of good, too.
