if anyones familiar with devil may cry, this is the painting that inspired the characters dante and virgil in hell. named just that, im just trying to emphasize a point; there will always be unique art determined by a time period and its people due to theyre influence on its creation. these are beautiful paintings that depict naked men in a struggle, possibly because clothes classified people more thoroughly back then. but demons in hell are pretty distinguishable enough, and the only reason a pelt was worn on one of the wrestlers is because it inspires intimidation in an enemy.
it may look like a guy grabbing another guys cock to you, but to me its beautiful art! lol
