When I read his Tsukino Jyogi work "Forest of Beautiful Witches" and I saw his tweet in comment section which reveal his potential sequel was scrapped by editor or someone even publisher announced his work will issue sequel... I really pissed off for this stupid decision and everything related to this.
Why publisher doing this and ruined author and readers who wait for his sequel? It does not make sense.
Publisher always has opinion, ranking and feedback to received for use in decision to accept or reject sequels. They just let author do what he/she want for own work and publisher just track works from customers to find out that work is good or bad then decided to grant or scrap it.
Just don't scrap before release it. You deceive audience and everyone for saying it will release when actually it is not. You must tell it if you sure that sequel will come for sure and no non-sense destroyed by someone like this. And I know these thing happened in everything such as TV shows,Manga, Hentai etc. But as I said before, I hate this thing and it ruined everyone. I will be not surprise if Wani lose another good artist ans some audience because this bullshit and everything related to this.
And the author, you can only accept it and scrap his idea from editor decision and leave it like a loser.... Why not publish or sold his potential sequels on your own like doujinshi or self-publish manga? You just gave up thing you want to make and fulfill your audience. Which is good for everyone. I never understand this either.
Instead to make author to rework from scratch or his experience which is really hard, time-consume and so much stressful, let's author do whatever they want and just decide it after release and get some market and customer feedback results.
