If u have to lose one of ur senses (Hearing, Sight, Speech)

If u really have to lose One of ur senses, for a certain reason, which one will it be?
Not being able to listen, see, or talk??? (Only these three choices are available, so don't go around choosing anything more random)

I rather lose the ability to talk.. hmm, maybe cuz sign languages are awesome :P and I believe that sight and hearing is more important (For survival means)..

I'll go with my sense to smell. ;p Though, without smell that really affects your taste. We'll ignore that fact though.

I fail at following directions.
I'd rather lose speech. Because there's still ways to communicate without actual words. Though only 2 out of 3 are actual senses. Speech is an ability, not a sense.

talking. It'd be nice not to talk to people and actually have a decent reason for it. Plus, I can get a hot translator/signer friend who says everything I sign to her. Oh this is going to be sweet.

My ability to speak cuz honestly most of what I say isn't important.

It ain't that tough of a decision between these 3 senses, if you lose hearing there is no point in talking because you can't hear what you say. And if you can't see that's just really bad because you can't see what the hell your doing. And if you can't talk its not a huge change from what your usual lifestyle would be only that you'd be writing down what you would want to say. Or using them mics that you put to your throat which I think would be kind of cool, anyways my pick would be to lose the ability to speak.

P.S. Those aren't 3 senses because speech is an ability. The 5 senses are touch, smell, hear, taste, and sight.

If I were to lose one of my senses then I prefer taste because if i lost my sight I would go insane wishing to see the world, If I lost touch then how would I now when to limt my body by not being able to feel pain, if I lost smell then how can I protect me from oders that are toxic, and if I lost hearing I would feel empty cause how would I hear music or the voices of my loved ones, taste would be that most accepatble, but still I would have to be carefull on what I eat cause of posion. so ether way I lose. but

Probably smell. I already seem to have a bad sense of smell for some reason. I'm always the last person to smell something in the air, or sometimes I never smell what everyone else mentions. Perhaps that's a good thing in the end. XD

Anyway, I'd just assume give that up.

Well I already lost my ability to smell, so if I could, I'd pick that. But out of the three things that you listed... speech. I want to see and hear what goes on around me.

Plus, I could still type/write. Screw sign language, lol, it is too complex (IMO).

Like everyone says, speech for me. There are a lot of things to see in the world and many interesting things to listen to.

Anyway, from the 5 senses....I'm with HentaiElder on this one. Smell is very important, but I want to be able to feel, see, and hear my world. Losing taste would suck.

Also, if you do lose a sense, especially one you rely on, you use your other senses thus improving them. That's why people who are blind are able to actually walk place without bumping into stuff. They rely completely on their hearing. Now I don't know what happens when you lose your other senses, but losing your sight does increase your hearing.

Sorry to inform you, but the one failing is you, Sir. Whether Speech is a sense or not (you forgot proprioception, thermoception, equilibroception and pain in your list, too), the OP wills it so, and so we must comply.

Out of the three I'd clearly lose speech, because sight and hearing are much more important than blabbering myself.
Out of real senses, I'd clearly lose taste.

Speech for me, for if i lost my ability to see, how am i supposed to go to Fakku? and if i can't hear, how the hell can i watch porn and enjoy it?

Under technicality I believe thermoception and pain can fall under the category of "feel".

As for losing the sense described by OP, definitely speech.

From one of the 5 (original) senses, it would have to be taste since losing smell would mean food wouldn't taste all that good either.

Medically speaking they're different senses - and practically speaking too ^~. There are people who suffer from congenital analgesia, but have a sense of touch. Same with thermoception.
