I'm home :3

So I'm officially home in my new state, Georgia with Fpod.
I took pictures of my old home in Pennsylvania ): But things are absolutely everywhere and I can't find the disk at the moment. >_<

I wish I could have gone to a con this year, but hopefully next year I'll be financially set. I can't tell you how much of a hole this move has burned into my pocket.

The apartment is aesthetically nice. Once things are all cleaned up maybe I'll take pictures of the new place and post them, not that anyone would really care to see my apartment lol. But when you get down to it, we've already had to have maintenance come 3 times. They're expected to come again. The heat didn't work (not that we really need it, but it gets cold at night). The toilet was clogged and we tried our best to unclog it but it wouldn't work, and the blinds didn't work. Like those long ones for the patio windows? You twist the wand and they go side ways and then you can pull them to the side? Yea. The wand was broken.

Now for the things they still have to fix:
The dishwasher, there's standing water in it and screws and such floating around in it. The oven, for whatever reason doesn't have any wracks. Also, it's a gas stove, so the hot plates are all crooked and the pans don't sit flat. Eugh.


Things are certainly different in Georgia too. Like there's no middle grounds with peoples personality. They're either extremely polite and friendly, or extremely rude and nasty. .__.;

The driving, holy hell, I feel like I'm risking my life every time I go on the roads. There's stupid signs everywhere. Like for example, there will be a normal stop sign. Then underneath that stop sign will be a little white rectangle sign that says 'It's the LAW.' Then underneath that little white rectangle sign will be another sign that says 'stop at white line'

There's just a lot of stupid signs that make the 6-8 lanes of traffic even more hectic ._____.

But yea, if anyone wondered where I've been for the past week, it's been moving.

belive me I know what you mean all too well I drive my truck through ga regularly and people there cant drive at all and watch out when it rains they really start screwing up its bad.

btw where did you move to in ga guessing by the road reports the atlanta aera would be my guess

I'll keep that in mind about the rain. It's storming here now. People just cut in front of you like it's nothing. It's like they want to kill you D;

yep yep and not to sound racist but watck out for the black female drivers down there. they are the worst ones. ask any black guy in ga they probably tell you the same thing

Glad to have you back on Fakku. I would say your house-moving was a blessing in disguise, since you managed to avoid all the drama that occurred over the weekend.

I am sure you will adapt to the new environment after a while.
