In Japan sex isn't fun

I just read this, and found it rather interesting. I'm not quite sure why Japanese people who aren't trying to have children bother having sexual relationships at all. Males, at least, seem from the writer's account to find intercourse stressful and unenjoyable. Why is it worth it to them to go through the trouble?

I was aware of the problem. That's also why almost all JAV look like rape, the woman is not supossed to show too openly that she enjoys it.

This is one of the many rather strange cultural quirks of the Japanese but the younger generations are much more open, you could say western, in that regard.

very informative, i would have never been able to comprehend such customary differences without serious years of personal experience. if woman taking a dominating role is wrong i dont want to be right, i cant believe how integrated their culture is even in sex. i think piemans right... hentai portrays the polar opposite of the norm so dramatically because its everything that wouldnt be generally accepted in reality. ironic but understandable, tedium and self-expression usually go hand in hand.

He's got this strange idea that since he has "mad Asian chicks on his dick" in New Jersey, he'd be a god in Japan and that's one of the main reasons he wants to go. That article was very informative, i never would've thought it that way, though it is understandable, given their history and all. I would say that sucks and that they should be more western, but in truth I do like their way of flirting better, it's really annoying when a western girl is "all over you" and you really REALLY don't want her to be. that and i think shy chicks are cute XD but i could do without the sex "roles", that's kinda hindersome.

To be honest, i think an western guy would have an easier time making the transition than the girl lol, for obvious reasons.
