I might not be long here and dind't do a lot of posts but i just read through the god bye thread from TMS. I know i will get some people now on the wrong foot as i support TMS.
How can it be that a page like FAKKU, that is set up for pepople who share the same interests becomes a place of fighting. There is something called ignore.
If you can't get on with one person just ignore them don't talk to them and don't post any mean posts.
Blodyhell this is the internet you don't see each other just drop it. TMS was here for 2 years and from what i gathered he made some great contributions to this page.
So to the people who drove him away, good job i hope you are proud of yourselfs.

Because it essentially is. You expect to be treated the same, and therefore you have to treat people the same. As a result, the same kind of fighting and disrespect is going to exist on the internet as well.

Besides, there are always two sides the same coin. TMS chose to leave. He wasn't forced, or chased out by anyone. Some people like TMS, some people dont, and some people just simply don't care. Everyone is allowed to feel anyway they choose. It's not so easy to just completely ignore someone on the internet.

Jup true again what you say as well. But like I said it's a shame that people can't ignore each other on the net you are not forced to write to them.

Anyway i don't know the whole story so i just posted my pointof view. Just find it a shame that shit like that happens on a page where i finaly found people who have the same intersts like me. (To be honest i thought i was weired)

The fact that this IS indeed the internet is the reason why many people do talk to people they don't like. It would indeed be nice if people could learn to ignore others on the internet. The way I see it, the internet by the nature of its anonymity is a breeding pool of negative behavior, as people tend to act more brazen than they would in a face-to-face conversation.

You'll soon figure out, however, that this kind of drama (not necessarily the leaving, but the group vs. group) will happen quite often on FAKKU.

@Catcher, I noticed already as well that there are a lot of people who do this shit on the internet don't have the guts to do it face to face. Mostly these people are being bullyed themself in real life and think they can leave it out in the net.

This is the internet. I welcome you to it. I doubt that TMS even gave a shit if anyone did try to troll him as he would return the favour tenfold. Seriously, people are just assholes on the internet because there is no way to find them. They are anonymous. They can always ignore people that they don't like but why would they do that when they can start a fight? There is no negative consequence to it other than receiving a bad name from someone on the other side of the world.

Seriously, there is no point to trying to fight internet bullying. The only thing you can do is ignore them if they single you out. Otherwise, you can retaliate and try to defend yourself.

Well i do know there are groups cracking down on I-net bullying so maybe the fight will be won one day. I hope so.
Like I said before. Before I found this page i thought myself a strange individual with a twisted mind but when i stumbled across this page i felt at home. People who share the same interest like me. Of cause there will be fights yes but no one should be allowed to carry on over a certain extend.

I do belive that TMS had some few strong words to say to others no doubt in that.

Or rather, stop being so sensitive that you let people you don't know, people who know not even the first thing about you emotionally disrupt you at all.

That's not to say I don't get mad, or upset when people act like dicks to me, but it's not going to ruin my life... I get pissed off just like anyone, but that's the end of it. It is the internet, but it is no different from real life, there will always be people who will for the "fuck" of it try to upset you, all you can do is vent, and move on.

Well if i learned one thing over the last few years is not to let anyone piss me off so easy. lol.

People will always be closed-minded, simple, and ready to start conflict at the drop of a hat. That goes for the internet, and reality. There is no exceptions. We will always be different, and thus it will cause some sort of conflict. There's no way around it. It's just human nature.

I didn't know TMS for long, but he wasn't so bad. Sure, he had his moments of dickery, and most would consider him a troll of sorts, but he was entertaining at least, and did contribute to FAKKU. I only remember once butting heads with him, but eh, I wouldn't call it serious. Any other time, we either more or less got along, or just ignored each other.

Anyways, As far as internet bullying is concerned, there will always be retards that feel the need to dump on others, in some way, shape, or form. How you choose to deal with it is a different story.

I didn't see TMS standing out much in being a dick or a troll. He seemed like a normal user to me. Though, my definition of a normal internet user is VERY broad...
