It's like how Margarite in Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai always says "Jagd," as if it actually means anything specific. She just randomly says "Hunt," and that doesn't make sense to me...
Anyway...
I have a bunch of old Pokémon cards and a few Yu-gi-oh decks somewhere.
Nobody actually knew how to play them; we just threw down the most powerful cards randomly, then ran off and played guns or something.
The game had a "White series" and a "Black series" for the cards that's why it's called White Black.
What was the distinction between the two? Was it just the color?
I'd make a joke about the white deck being better but that might be taken the wrong way...
Also, was it notoriously difficult to play, like all the other card games (difficult for American children who grew up with Super Mario 64, that is)?

And by casual, I mean I kept getting the starter packs without realising it and wondered why I got 6 Machamps.I also played the Pokémon TCG for the GBC religiously until I completed it. That game, as shit as it was, taught me how to play properly.
Haha, me too, I have been trying to find that game and play it again.

I'm sure there isn't anyone that wasn't enticed when Yu-Gi-Oh! first came airing - then we always say the same thing after buying a couple of tins, boosters and decks, it's just paper...fuck.

long time ago i collected Pokémon and after that Yu-Gi-Oh which I played once or twice. But years after that I got into VS System. That was the only card game that I actually played regularly.

Like most, I used to play Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! TCGs. I stopped when I was about 16.

played pokemon untill my best friends borrowed all my cards "lost" them and refused to replace them >.> even got on of his girl-type friends to slap me becouse i kept pestering him to give them back or pay for them >.> ya dont collect them anymore but i would be intrested in collecting some of the anime-esk ones just for the artwork.

I use to fiend over yu-gi-oh cards but now they r in a tin just collecting dust. i mght sell them a few years from now when they have some good value.
