If there's already a similar topic, my apologies.
For nu-jazz lovers there's no doubt that Japan is the home of famous nu-jazz and fusion music artists, for example Casiopea and Studio Apartment. These guys are geniuses when it comes to making and mixing their own beats instead of just sampling.
Here are some samples from my favorite artists, well some of them aren't exactly jazz but more of hip-hop/lounge fusion. If any of you also interested in this music genre, feel free to recommend me your favorites.

I guess I could name a few (mnx, pizzabite) but i dunno bout the rest.

I seem to remember a similar topic a long time ago... nice to see this kind of music on the front page though, balances out the metal threads.

I like all of this music! Smile I didn't know Jazztronik was Japanese too... :/

Also, a lot of this reminds me of Lemongrass.

Edit: gonna go look for some of this on vinyl...
