[Locked] Kaho's Project !!

I don't even know why you're still hanging around these forums...you're a professional right? Right? I'm right aren't I?

I have never seen anything like this from a forum poster, only professional work. This is definitely awesome, professional...

But If u judge myself, i'll say " I'm still learning " !!
I'm pro or not, it's doesn't matter, just wanna show to u guy my work and Leaf love also !!

Kaho is good yes but its still more of an imitation of LEAFs style unless he acquires more of his own style it might have a conflicts later down the road artist don't really like when someone steals their style and claims it as their own although Kaho does seem to put his own twist on it he still needs to make the style his own that is the only thing I really see lacking to make him good enough to be pro......hope none of this gets taken the wrong way.

btw Kaho some of my friends in the art business said they liked your work and brought up a couple of questions can you draw stuff other than people?

Thank !u know, this one sounds weird but " I belong to LEAf ", I'll never change my mind and my " Leaf " style also, All for propagandizing Leaf, When someone look at my work, They'll think of Leaf, they'll know about Leaf, That makes me happy !!

they just want to know if you are able to draw things like vehicles, weapons, buildings, etc. (things you would see in the background or wielded by the character)

A long time ago ! When I drew my own Manga that requires me to draw some stuff u said, But now, i'm rarely draw them, Cuz I'm still learning LEAf style !! but I can say that i can draw them, hope so !! ^^
PS: 2 year ago, my own style was really bad,so,when i looked at LEAF's work, I loved them without knowing, Thank to LEAF, i can improve myself !!

ah I see well I am a college student in graphic design and programming so anyone who can draw good is of use to me considering I plan to open my own company some day and a friend of mine really likes to find artist in various styles so yours caught his eye ^^

Lucky u !I envy with u that U can learn about what u love to do ! U know, In my country, VietNam, Drawin' Jp style can't earn money, Vietnamese prefer to " VietNamese " style, beside, about manga, VietNamese just publish that call " VietNamese" manga, no ecchi(banned), no school life, they just accept the "history" that they proud of ,
they also call their own style is MAN_VI (MANga+VIetnam),what a stupid word !!beside, naming Vietnamese name for the character in Manga that make me sick !Actually, I've never done that in my Manga,Japanese name is the best, Pheww...

Why not learn Japanese and move to Japan? Or even America, or Canada? There are Anime/Ecchi/Hentai based jobs in North America. Look at Fakku, I'm pretty sure the owners are American. They at least speak English, so North America or Europe.

No I didn't find out but Kaho you are old enough to be a dependent so what you do with your life isn't up to your parents, I also am 19, so I would find a way to make some money and get the hell out of there if you don't like it and pursue what you want to do...then again this is just an opinion we all have our circumstances and what not

Yeah, that's the best course of action. I myself am working to earn money for education.

Ahh !! the differences from cultures, U're from USA, u can live independently of ur family, I'm from VietNam, I can live independent of my family when i graduate from my collect, i can a job at that time !! Ruuuuuu.....

I have to agree with Sorrow Bloodmist here. Although your art is certainly well rendered, being too single-minded when drawing will only serve to hurt you. Drawing only Leaf styled characters won't teach you anatomy, proportions, perspective, or color theory.

If you're deciding that you want to pursue a career in art, I think it'd be a good idea to branch out and try different styles. Try imitating the styles of the old masters, da Vinci, Rembrandt, or even famous Vietnam artists (I'm not too familiar with those). Imagine if someone commissions you to draw something for them, but you can only churn out these characters that look exactly like those from Leaf. Amazing as they may be, not everyone in the art world appreciates that, not to mention copyright issues that might arise.
