ugh. azusa looks weirdly tall in the pic...plus the shape and expression of her face looks kinda weird too. and, her hair is drawn way too long, i think. but still, nice costume....

and i can't help to think it's strange that you wrote her name in hiragana but using the western style...lol. nice try, btw.

oh well, mistakes help us improve ourselves...don't worry. apart from the shape of the face, i think it's a good art...not as "that" nakano azusa though. i'll just think of it as a random miko art...

heck, i'm one to talk, when i can't even draw anything....

anyway, since you were trying to draw azusa, i forgot to say one more thing...her chest. it should be smaller...^_^

just some tips *from a guy who only observes....*

-Eyes need to be "in a row".If you did it right, draw a line from the top line on the eye to the other eye, it will be straight.

-use the face guidelines to help you position the face and all

-don't try to imitate 100% of the LEAF style, that will really affect the outcome.

-and practice on the angles.

No worries, just take all the time you need to improve your drawing skills. Btw, the LEAF Azusa looks pretty good. Like mibuchiha said, looks kinda different from Azusa but then again, not most of us can draw something like that so it's good none the less.
