Kamille Bidan vs Shinn Asuka

Well since these two are similar I've put this to see which character is better.

They are both from their sequel series, Zeta Gundam and Gundam SEED Destiny. Both are hot headed, both have lost their families, and both are the main characters for their shows... sorta (if you know what I mean).

Really? Then I guess that what I saw when Shinn got his ass kicked was an illusion then.

That's right, got his ass kicked by another emo from Seed, even more invincible.

Kamille easily, if you watched his final battle you know why he would win. But Shin is also a good pilot. It's unfortunate his character destroyed by horrible script writing...sigh.

Shinn Asuka is a mad dog that all bark and no contribution.(if you catch what i mean) Kamille Bidan is immature at first but growth in the process and understand the meaning of life, in other words, Mature.

If the two fight, i highly doubt that an ass like shinn can defeat a Mature Newtype like kamille.

but may i ask? what kind of mobile suit are both piloting in the fight?

In terms of EMO levels, they're both EMO and I equally hate them both. As for piloting skills, again it's the time-classic question of whether or not Newtype skills are greater than the SEED skills of Coordinators. And I don't know the answer to that as I don't really appreciate the UC series.

@posted vid: Dude, Kamille took so many hits in that vid it's not even funny. And again, it comes down to the same old argument: are Newtypes better or worse than Coordinators? Obviously this clip among others are favoring the Newtype side.

Yes g I don't like him. He was alright in SEED but after watching Destiny, I just hate him. His actions and his way of thinking is just too naive and the fact that he just goes off blowing limbs is just down right annoying. Also a factor why Destiny failed for me.

...Oh, come on. NewTypes are easily superior to Coordinators in mobile suit combat. Sure, Coordinators are physically strong outside of their mobile suits, but once inside, NewTypes are superior. After all, NewTypes have an increased sense of Precognition, along with Telepathy and just the simple fact that they can essentially learn how to best aces almost overnight. In fact, Kira, who is considered the Ultimate Coordinator, is more like an average or even below average NewType.

Now, that's essentially what this fight is. You're pitting an S-class NewType against an A-class Coordinator. Shin may have his Seed Mode, but he's definitely not the strongest Coordinator. Kamille, on the other hand, is considered the second strongest, if not the strongest, NewType. The strongest is arguably Judau Ashta from ZZ Gundam. Nonetheless, Kamille is capable of absorbing beam rifle shots, creating a large beam sword, aka Sword of Rage, not to mention the infamous Waverider Crash, with the activation of the Biosensor. At the same time, it's not simply the machine that wins the battle, since Destiny is most likely a faster and more agile machine. If you notice the performance of the Zeta Gundam in Roux's hands, it was not nearly as destructive compared to when it was in Kamille's hands.

Honestly, I believe Kamille is capable of besting even Kira with his Plot Armor just by using the Zeta Gundam and its Biosensor capabilities.

True that, also Kira stole the spotlight as main character from Shinn in Destiny.

Kamille and Shinn, both was an emo, whiny, angst teen. But I grew to like Kamille better because he developed throughout Zeta series and eventually became an adult. Shinn in the other hand.....God, he still a whiny kid in the end; though I find it's because he stripped from the 'main character' status in SEED Destiny.
