Hey Kuro, awesome stuff! I love your smooth lineart and shading techniques, such eye-candy. I'm curious to know the program(s) you use and if you don't mind saying, lineart brushes. Like... damn... it's so clean and perfect, you can really see how much effort you put into your art.
Hey dood!
I use Clip Studio Paint as my drawing software. I used SAI for nearly 5 years until a few months ago when I made the switch to Clip Studio. The reason is just that CS provides all the features I liked from SAI plus many more that SAI doesn't have.
And as of very recently too I've switched my linearting from bitmap to vector. CS has great vector tools that feel and look exactly like bitmap brushes, but because they're vector they offer a few handy extra functionalities.
Making them nice and clean is a matter of trial and error for finding the line widths you prefer, getting comfortable with the tool feel, and being diligent and meticulous.

Also, any tips on coloring you find useful?
Hmm, a broad piece of advice I would give is to keep layers nice and organized. A lot of times I've had to go back and tweak or redraw something on a piece and because of the way layers were organized it caused a big headache.
IN OTHER NEWS, I've started work on a short visual novel for Nanoreno 2015! It's going well so far but I have a lot of work to do. I'm going solo and handling the portrait art, BGs, menus, coding, writing - ie. everything but the music. Hopefully I haven't bit more than I can chew.
