So you're 27 and with a woman who is 30? Unless that was an odd example. I had it thought that you were much younger then that.
Yes I am, yes she is.

The thing with animal-human love, with me... is that there's no way you can really say its two sided.
All human relationships with animals are one-sided. Whether you keep an animal as food or work-force, or as an emotional dumpster ("pet"), or as a guardian, or whether you rape it. Simply because humans and animals are not, can can never be eye-to-eye. We have no surefire way of communication, so we project onto animals whatever we please. If you want that projection to be romantic love - that seems very strange, but it really isn't so different from the other anthropomorphisms we force upon animals.
Then there's people who fall in love with inanimate objects too. That's guaranteed to be very one-sided. But hey, go ahead and marry your washing machines guys 'n' gals, if you're so inclined. Fine by me. Doesn't sound too healthy. But harmless at least.

You cant prove a dog loves you romantically any more than he loves you like a dog would normally.
...so basically, its kinda like animal rape...
Probably. While I'm far from being a zoophile, I must say as far as ethics are concerned I don't care. This is going to sound cruel, but even so: I have a very utilitarian view of animals ("the farmer's love for animals looks at the pig and sees the sausage"), they're here to satisfy our needs, it's what humans do to/with their surroundings. It's the human condition. As far as ethics go, it's the same to me whether you do it with a washing machine or a horse. I do however find the latter incredibly disgusting on a personal level.
To me, it's more personal disgust than anything else that makes zoophilia a big
NO-NO!
