Jokes aside, there are rumours of maid cafes being more expensive than a regular restaurant, even though their food may not be as tasty. Noticed that I used the word "rumours" since I have never been to one myself.

Which is usually the case, since there's a very small percentage of people who live anywhere near a maid cafe.
