I remember reading about that in The Economist because I'm a high brow person who reads The Economist. It's still not totally legal though. A step in the right direction, sure, but not totally legal.
Wait, you're not allowed to see people smoking it, but you're allowed to make a news article about it informing everybody else, who will start trying to get "prescriptions" for "medicinal" use.
I wonder if this is to just get it out there, and slowly turn itself into just a weed bar. I'm for legalization of marijuana, but it's difficult with die hard "DRUGS ARE BAD! THIS LOOKS BAD!' assholes. So they have to candy coat the wording and make it seem legit for a while. Or maybe I'm too hopeful.
No the state will get the taxes. weed is legal in some states but still Illegal nationaly so the dea can come in and clean house no matter what. states are bound to govern their own laws but the feds are on thier own level and can bully everyone...hell I say make it legal
1. Make alot of money from sales and taxes.
2.safer then your "friendly neighborhood dealer"
3. whats so bad about pot you get hungry happy lazy and stupid...most of the world already thinks USA is dubm so wtf who cares
Point something out guys, and I hate to go against you all but, just because alcohol and smokes are worst for you doesn't mean a pot smoker has no worry of getting medical complications. Your putting smoke into your lungs for god sakes.
Plus I agree with lollollol12. I don't smoke cigars anymore, because when I was 17 I felt awesome getting away with it. That was half the fun. Don't ruin this for me US!
