The books had no character development, the actors are ugly, and the 'original' approach to vampires is like a kid's story. "The vampires are really fast, really strong, and during the day, when they go out into the sunlight, they begin to glow and sparkle like stars!" If I were British, I would call this disgrace to Dracula's brood bloody rubbish.

I don't know about Haruhism. Always thought that was an internet joke or something. The Star Wars one I can handle because at least it has a decent plot. Morality, light vs dark and whatnot. But Twilight has absolutely NOTHING. The plot sucks, the girl is annoying as hell, the vampires/werewolves are shit and there's nothing redeemable about it.

My mom borrowed the book from my aunt and in one evening she read a quarter of the evil book. I attempted to read the preface, but I could not get past "Preface".
And throwing it out there (No offense if any) Twilight is a total chick flick.
