I'm more concerned with the music in most cases. If the music is great, I don't care about the lyrics or even how the vocals sound in most cases. For example, bands like Coheed and Cambria or Rush have vocals that are annoying to me, but I like them because of the music.
Although, I guess if the lyrics are really retarded, it would kill it for me. But this only really happens in rap, which most often doesn't have music worth listening to anyway.
