My life = hell for 3 days in 19 days

My little chunk of earth that I like to call home is going to be overrun by tourist for 3 days. and the number of people in this small town is going to almost quadruple.

Let me explain I live in Danville KY http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danville%2C_Kentucky Each year around the second week of June is the Great American Brass Band Festival http://www.gabbf.org/ for roughly 3 days over 40 thousand people flock to my little town of roughly 15 thousand. All my local hangouts are out of the question, and you can't get through downtown, in less than 20 minute.

Secretly kill them off? You know, go all ninja on their asses and take'em out like a well trained assassin? Just a suggestion

You can soundproof you're walls in 19 days.

I make 6.35 an hour and each of my pay checks have 16 taken out for union dues. Adding on top of tat 50 bucks for ga each week, I barely have 30-40 bucks left from my paychecks.

Maybe they should just move the town. Hire a bunch of movers and just literally move the town. Then the festival people will be like "But, it was here last year"

Didn't they do something like that on The Simpsons?

thats why you have to make your own room an entertainment center in case things like that happen, you know i even made my room to hide from stray bullets when my parents argue...

I've been there, and done that. NEVER LET YOUR GUESTS BRING GLITTER INTO THE HOUSE. GLITTER STAYS FOR MONTHS. I MEAN IT. I STILL FIND GLITTER SOMETIMES AND IT'S BEEN LIKE, 4-6 MONTHS.

And trust me, I've vacuumed.

Meh, I feel your pain, but I live right by Colonial Williamsburg, and we have tourists year round. To make it worse, I work at Barnes&Noble right in the Colonial area, and therefore have to deal with them all day. Speaking of which I gotta get my ass off Fakku and get ready for work. But anyway, that does suck, but be glad its not year round...

It lasts a year or more if it gets in carpeting.

I know what it feels like. We have the state fair in my town of 10,000. It becomes utter Hell.

Nothing happens in my town of Chino that's really that big,but we used to have a world record for Cow to human population way back in the day.

That's fucking awesome. Cows are the shit.

Not a lot of any more where all developed into suburbs and shopping centers. Huh, I just remembered a time where me and my family skipped church to watch a cow give birth. That was a fun day, because while we watched it I got a slurpee.
