I don't work but i feel more fufiled more then in my entire lifetime I get to watch my nephews grow up and not to many bills,no school,unlitmited entertainment, as much food and drink lol not so broke a place to live lol idk but lifes weird like that.

That is one gruesome wound, inflicted while you did your duty. Your scar will be caused by an accident that occurred while you served to protect others.
Making my significantly less impressive scar in the exact same place that much more pathetic. Mine is from being unable to successfully climb a three foot chain link fence, that just so happened to be rusty AND sharp at the top. In my back yard. Trying to catch my cat.
So, at the very least, your scar is a badge of honor... and not of being out of shape and uncoordinated.
