I'm new here(signed up about 2 days ago) and I thought maybe this would be a good way to start up my forum posting. I hand drew these and then took a picture with my camera to upload them to deviantart.com(god I wish I had a scanner >__>'). I know there are people that are way better then me but I decided, hey what the heck, so I hope you all enjoy :D

comments, suggestions and ideas are all welcome of course, constructive criticism is definitely on the list as well, if you have any useful bits of information that I can use to improve myself, I'll gladly take it(just no flaming please)

keep drawing. set aside 1 hr a day and draw with a goal in mind for a week.

Don't worry, I started far more worse than you. Keep practicing, try to draw some new position to get a little bit more understanding on the body positioning/proportions.

thank you both for the support and suggestions, I'll practice as much as I can, and if anything, I'll update this thread with new drawings that I make :D

I like what you did with the hair. However, her shoulders don't look wide enough. It makes her head look big and her neck look long. I am curious though, as to why you find right eyes so hard to draw.

its probably the position I draw in, idk, the eye tends to come out awkwardly when I draw it, then again, most of the time I rush through my drawings, like f0dd3r suggested, I'm going to set aside more time to draw so I can draw the eyes evenly and accurately, and I'll see what I can do about the shoulders, thanks for your input, it really helps :D

@ elfen: keep drawing and dont avoid drawing hands and feet.

@ both: pick up a ream of cheap copier paper and just draw.
Once a month do a study(copy) of your favorite artist, try to copy it as closely as possible.

draw for 1/2 hr everyday from life, not photos.

f0dd3r, i actually did nothing you mentioned above so it's not really a guideline. I feel a teacher is your best bet lol. Someone who can whip you into shape =3

@my: yeah having a good teacher is best, escpecially someone whom you can get to push you everyday. like a personal trainer. but not everone is comfortable with sharing their passions
