I find that each time I drew using traditional method(inking), my linearts seems to breaks apart especially after erasing the pencil lines. Any advice on what type of paper to use so that I won't lost my linearts quality when erasing pencil marks?

Use Manga paper and G Nibs. It usually works well enough so that it doesnt smurge/blobs. It's absorbing ability also allows Copic thin markers to work well as well. It's really really smooth and has very good tolerance to sketching with pencils.

I don't ink traditionally because the ink is not as consistent when i use nibs hahaha so i usually just digitally ink it.

Nice Unicorn though. You should draw the gattling gun mod instead cos it's cooler lol. The right palm is missing its thumb, just to let you know, you should shrink the whole right palm as well since it's really quite huge. Also, i think the red is more pinkish i thought. XD

Oh yeah, I have been out for a while and there's a reason for it. You see for the last few weeks my cousin bought a damn awesome LE MGS4 'Hagane' bundle pack and he left it at my place. So I'm stuck at the tv playing the damn awesome game MGS4! and I can't seem to stop playing the game. It's already my 4th round on the game.

Its so awesome I have to draw something from the game...

Lineart takes incredibly long with pen tool so don't worry yet. Also there's no varying volume in the lines, which is why its a double edged sword.

Good is that it looks uniform. Bad is it looks uniform.

You can try this though. Line everything with size 1 pix hard brush, then overlay more volume on the areas you think required (darker areas) and thus you'll gain a varying line size. It'll take a lot of work but it'll look fantastic when its complete. I also recommend you to use as LITTLE mouse sensitivity as possible to increase your control with the mouse brush.

Also, i do lineart differently. All my parts are in different layers. Like hair, clothes, stuff like that. This facilitates me in colouring the lineart when it is complete. Pretty useful method. All you have to do is to make a Layer Folder and toss all of them inside, copy an entire set and merge that set. Once you've done that, you can just work on your compiled set. After you've finished colouring the base and the shades, you can instantly colour part by part without the troubling issue of colouring parts of the lineart you don't want to. (I think i did mention how to colour lineart in one of my replies earlier.)
