NBA Playoffs

Go Magic! I kind of want to see a Denver v. Orlando matchup. Everyone thought it would be LA and Cleveland. Lol. It'll be the opposite! Either way, I think it'll be the West who wins this year. The west has been the more dominating conference over the decade. It's abiut time Kobe got his own without Shaq.

Pressure is on Orlando now to win game 6 now. If they don't their in deep trouble to face the Cavs at the Q for game 7.

I think the Nuggets will win tonight, but the Lakers will take game 7. If the Lakers could consistently play with intensity, they'd be in the finals already, but even so, they have a lot of talent. The only weak position is PG, where Fisher is washed up and Brown and Farmar just aren't good enough yet.

That was the Lakers team that looks unbeatable. To go into Denver and dominate like they did in Game 7 really shows the strength of LA. They already have Kobe...but when their big guys like Odom, Gasol, and Bynum play well, no one can compete. Not to mention Ariza and Fischer. :roll:

I'm praying for the Cav's every night... I can't remember the last time I've gotten as nervous as I did watching the end of... pretty much every game.

Meh, everyone wants to see Kobe vs. Lebron anyway!

The Lakers have the best players overall. Everyone knows Kobe is really good, but Gasol and Odom are somewhat underrated. Gasol isn't an athletic freak like Howard, but he has some of the best post moves in the NBA, and Gasol completely outplayed Howard(in the US-Spain gold medal match) in the 2008 Olympics. And to have Odom off the bench is incredible depth. As a Cavs fan, I'd love to have him as a starter. Bynum has been a bit shaky ever since his injury, but he shows flashes of good play, and he can at least be a solid contributer. Regardless of who wins the east, the Lakers will be favored in the finals. I think the Cavs have a better chance against them, since they are better overall than the Magic and have LeBron, who is playing even better than Kobe right now, but even for them it would be tough.

EDIT: The Cavs go quietly into the night. LeBron just looked flat out tired, and I can't blame him after playing the way he did. Whether fair or unfair, he stopped getting calls on his drives, shots didn't fall, and the Cavs generally played sloppily. Alas, time to now focus on getting a better post presence in the offseason.
