This week has been filled with them. The following threads are examples that I can think of.
On the plus side, threads that get revived (be it intentional or not) can be good for re-starting discussions on said thread, because the topic can be interesting.
On the negative side, new threads can get disregarded, or "buried", rather quickly in some cases because of said necrobumps. That can make things harder to find for example, like in the user upload section. Let's face it, not everyone uses the masterlist to find what they are looking for.

I don't know, sometimes it throws me outta my car, and I get confused because of the dates are from 2007.
They're cool, I also remember seeing someone bumping a request thread from 2007 just a few days ago. I think it would have been appropriate to start a new thread at the time.

I prefer necros for these "What ___ are you" and "What do you do/what's on your desk/share personal details with people who don't honestly care" threads.
I think ones which pose an immediately discussable question are worth new ones.
Things like Zombie Plan and [RAGE]HENTAI MAY BE ILLEGAL IN OUR GRANDCHILDREN'S LIFETIMES!!!!1111LOLLOLROFLEWAFFLESUXXORZZZWTFBBQUTKEHIM2DABAR??!1![/RAGE] are only acceptable once a month or so.
I also just got a PM saying I'm an elite now. (confetti)

Meh, I don't care. Most of the time whoever does it at least has something somewhat interesting to say. So I say let them it really isn't a big deal.

I don't give much fuss about it. Basically "meh". It's legal and I prefer it over topics being redone.
