are you talking about in my opinion the anime pales in comparison to nightows illustrations in the manga though, theres so much more back story and plot development(as in most manga)

good choice, it pretty much fucking sucks. they butchered it hard in my opinion... just doesnt do justice to anything and what was with the ending!? talk about anti-climactic.

Although I do agree with your statement, I must confess, the anime is what led me to the manga. But yes, never again will I watch that show, as well.

Ditto for me. That is sadly a trend for alot of animes. They follow the manga for awhile, get to a point then the animators grab the property and run off in some inane totally not how it goes direction. The anime ended without introducing a really great character. And one just ok character.

Not at all. Did you happen to read the manga? Or actually I should say, did you happen to read the manga past volume 7 or so?
I would really love for them to do like they have for Hellsing. Go back and redo the anime to fit the manga's storyline. And ratchet up the budget too, cause hey, what can it hurt? ^_^
