I wish there was higher standard that posters should follow when creating a new thread on an artist. Having, "My fav artist - dicuss" or "I like x,y,z from this artist - discuss" is just a lack of effort to make the thread more informative or discussion contributing.

I do enjoy certain kinds of Japanese music. I like jrock, some jpop is okay, but my favorite Japanese music of all time has to be the jazz that comes out of Japan (jjazz just looks odd). Like the music to the original Hellsing anime, Cowboy Bebop's soundtrack (woot seatbelts!) and the op from Baccano! Also, this is probably my first post... err hi everyone. I'm also a music major so if they sing competently (as in they're not out of tune with the music they're singing with [aka certain bands when they're live {*cough*Mindless Self Indulgence lead singer*cough*}]) I'm fine with them.
