Learned a lot about in-house relations at work after listening in on a discussion about where people would prefer each other to go when the new Store opens in the Town Centre (we apparently get the choice of staying in the Outlet or going to the Town).
They would prefer me to stay in the Outlet, which is good because I intended to. It's more convenient, bus stops there first before the Town and en route home, and the people I like intend to stay there too.
Have been told that where the new shop is situated is kind is a middle finger at the bookshop and the discount retailer that is currently there, since it's a bit of both.
It seems I'm not the only one who finds my boss intimidating. And she apparently has slagged off the person she most openly talks to.
It's all pretty interesting.
