I decided to take a day off (which will probably make tomorrow a even busier day), and went to a sort of charity event.
A local charity rents a fairly large building for 3 days, taking care of people who have seriously trouble taking care of themselves.
I volunteer to help for one day, and it was very moving.
I brought over my boardgames and had some fun playing games with everyone, I helped clean and cook dinner for everyone who showed up too.
There was the darlingest girl there who lost 2/3rds of her right arm do to a schizophrenia attack. But apart from that, she was the kindest goddamn girl ever. She lives with such [word here], yet she was still smiling and laughing... To say she was heart warming is an understatement.
I'm hoping I won't be too busy next year to go, I enjoyed helping and meeting everyone.
TL;DR
Volunteered for charity, and it was a very moving experience.
Edit - this is actually pretty significant, lol my bad.
