OT apart from her still being mad: Remember when games didn't fucking have DRM? Remember when you could just press "play" or slap a game in you console and not have to put in 4 different codes to prove that you own a game that YOU bought?

Clarification - I bought a game on my PC, installed it and had a grand ol' time. I got a new PC and now that old code I for some reason need to play a game that I already owned didn't work on my new PC. I removed every trace of it on my old PC, and it still won't work, I have to re-buy a game I already paid full price for over Steam.

Having to file paperwork with the local police department today in attempts to get my things back from an ex. The process could take a while but at least it's a start.

I didn't work out today because I wasn't feeling like myself today ... that is the first time that this happened since almost 2 months.

Something is on my mind but I don't know what ... guess I just gotta keep on going.

As for the DRM issue, I ran a repair on the game, and still nothing (I'm not gonna remove every trace and then re-install). It keeps asking me for a key code, and since I used the key on my old PC, it wants me to buy a new key...

I got a lot of progress done in Etrian Odyssey IV's bonus dungeon today. Then I came across an enemy that can potentially petrify my party if it's dealt damage paired with an enemy that can deal a scratch to an ally for a power boost. My party got petrified before I could so much as run away.

*sigh* At least I still have my map.

Woke up with a headache (can't remember my dreams, feel like they were fun).
I'm getting over a cold and was out late last night in freezing cold weather. So ya, I'm stupid.

I thought generally you put the code in steam, and it was like 'oh ok, it's now on your steam account forever' so if you moved computers, you could just re-download it...

I had to put the code in Windows Live, I launch it though seem (which makes no sense, I know). And I already got it solved... With a keygen.
And I'm not gonna redownload it, it was a huge game and I'm not bending over for a game I already own.

Easy ways to get around that:
-Put code in steam
-Stop download
-Install game manually to the steam folder location
-Get steam to check the files for the game/ cache
-Voila.. SHOULD work... I did a similar thing to this for natural selection 2 and saints row 3. NS2 still tries to download... Saints row 3 is fine, though. Can still boot manually through steam for ns2, and get it to work, though.

I've felt really depressed all day and I don't know why. Just kind of want to crawl up into a ball.
