Opinions about corsair dominator

What are your opinions about the corsair dominator 4GB (2x2GB)?
I've seen the ups of it, but is it really true that it degrades after a few months time?
Is there any other brand that is better than this...having the same or lower price of the corsair dominator 4GB (2x2GB)?

I have not heard anything bad about corsair, and it does seem unlikely that they will degrade in a matter of months, though the more stressed the RAM is the shorter the life span, but we would still be talking significantly more time than a few months, as long as you of cause dong super over clock them :)

Other good "gamer"-memory producers would be OCZ and GeIL. Hope you find some RAM-modules that you will be happy with :)

Corsair Dominators are good stuff but if you're not going to overclock don't bother with them.
Ram shouldn't degrade over time, I've got an old P2 that still runs fine.
The only problem with ram is if you touch the chips over time the oil on your fingers oxidise the chips but by that time you would have long upgraded to something else.
Otherwise corsair are good stuff haven't had a stick die on my yet.
On a side note I reckon you should avoid Crucial Ballistix Tracers they're good ram, overclock well but they tend to die and run fairly hot.

I've got these for my computer, they're great whether you're overclocking or not. Their design helps disperse heat if your planning to overclock, otherwise they're still solid products (though you might want to look into cheaper alternatives, RAMs in general rarely die).
