I pissed off a lot of my friends by saying exactly this. I'll always remember him fondly.

I liked his movies, my mom loved em, my mom is the same age as he was, and she admired him a lot I told her the news and she was in shock, she remembers when I told her back in Jan. about him getting cancer, may he rest in peace.

That sucks... Least he died peacefully.

2009 is like a graveyard for famous people.

My mum was crying for at least an hour

I don't really care...but either way, it's not surprising. He had pancreatic cancer and it was in all the tabloids like... a year ago.
