Schizotypal (I did a short paper in high school) is like mild schizophrenia.
It is prominent with delusions of grandeur, and distrust of authority figures.
One of the bigger red flags is being related to a schizophrenic.
It can present itself in several different ways like any other mental condition. But you are right in the easiest way to define it being mild schizophrenia, or so most professionals would say. It might also show itself in a person as something most people would dismiss as eccentricity. Like just strange ways of talking and acting. It's basically when a person is detached from reality enough to be crazy, but not enough to be living in their own private world.
Schizoid is easy to misdiagnose, and few people actually have it. It's like... being severely aloof. Showing very little emotion or interest in other people and things, a basically staying to one's self all the time. You can see why this would be easy to misdiagnose; lots of people are socially awkward.
