I don't suppose anyone knows where I can download a CS2/CS3 mac version of adobe photoshop? or is it just one of those infinately impossible things :(?

Well, there are the usual routes, but why that particular software? GIMP has most of the features of photoshop, with none of the cost. http://www.gimp.org/macintosh/
If you absolutely need those, you can download a 30 day trial form adobe (provided you haven't done so already). If there's something specific you're trying to do and GIMP doesn't do it, let me know what it is and I'll see if I can dig something up. Photoshop is good software, if you're a pro, but when you're an amateur or just starting out it's way too expensive.

ok i'll have a look, thank you! I did try a suggestion from a friend about torrents...but i don't understand them....hence the post. *grr* i already have it for PC but its not compatible for mac which is a pain *sigh*! Thank you again!

i think thats your best bet to a photosop for mac. somehow all i see is beta versions or files with ridiculous amounts or .rar files. if that's fine with you then ill post the torrent link for it.

There is photoshop for Mac, and it looks very nice. You're probably off better going with CS2 over 3, since all of the CS3 installers have a bad reputation for being incredibly slow and freezing up. If you're looking for a torrent, head to Http://torrentz.com And look up "Adobe photoshop CS2 Mac"
