Pirate Metal

I was wondering if anybody's heard some stuff from this "genre". It's so generic, but they're singing about pirate stuff! :D

I like the band unXpect. They technically used to be Pirate metal. Now they're avant garde.

those are the only pirate metal I've heard, but when it comes to such music that's about a type of people I prefer viking metal and troll metal.

That doesn't make me want to sail the seven seas, drink rum, do port of (booty) call, or any of the like. Though I does make me want to wreck up the place.

Alestorm on the other hand. Make me want to sail the seven seas, drink rum ,etc all with my fellow Fakkuza
