On a related note, I used to work at McDonalds, and I found out that hotcakes do not, in fact, sell like hot cakes. Ever since then I've asked around at other places that serve breakfast, and outside of places like IHOP and the Waffle House, the same is typically true. And now it bothers me for people to use the saying. Not significantly to start yelling about the sales rates of pancakes whenever someone uses it, but close...
Oh, and bitch had it coming.
