Please help! My laptop (vista) can't play .wave format !

I realize this when I try to play Fate/stay night(PC) and some weird blue box with Japanese text pop up and I'm stuck! I can't do anything except shut down while the game still operate. That really hurt man.

I think SFX of this game play with .wave format , because I have no problem when I'm try this game with my desktop ( XP ) and yeah my desktop can play .wave.

What should I do? Do I have to download some kind of codec or something like that?

Have you tried the 2 basics yet? (running it as administrator and / or changing it to XP compability in the properties)

Have you tried renaming the files to end with .wav instead of .wave?

This is very simple to fix:

1. Install XP.

If you're having trouble with playing a file format, you'd have to give us more information. Open the file in Windows Media Player and take a screenshot of the error.
