Just sight-seeing or do you actually go over the Art movements that happened in Italy?
We studied the art history of the republic, imperial eras, and Renaissance... in a lot of depth! As a major in that field, it was a real dream come true for me; I also took a course on Roman art in the spring, so it was like meeting celebrities I'd read about when I got there and finally saw the art!
It was really a lot of fun, but a lot of work... packed days of touring and on-site lectures from 8am to late in the evening, often! But so worth it.
