Love the hair in both shots, especially the A-line purplish-blue style. Hair like that is one of my biggest weaknesses. Makes you look a little like Motoko Kusanagi (one of mai animu waifus).
Actually, that's who my hairstyle is based off of. I also have a tattoo of Major on my forearm and I am in the process of putting together a cosplay of her for the fall.

I usually hate, hate, hatteee longer hair so I fully expected to be 100% for the shorter haircut. Surprisingly I can't say I have a strong preference one way or another. With your hair long you kinda look like a dick guy I once knew, so I guess the association doesn't help your case there. I personally think the short hair looks fine. Maybe try styling it another way? You might find a way to wear it that you like better than what's pictured.

I guess some people will like the look better, but ultimately, it IS my hair, and personally, I really miss my longer hair. It felt nice spinning it around while headbanging, and it felt REALLY good to just run a hand through it. Thank you for the opinion, though. It feels nice to know someone does prefer shorter hair.
